The Rev. Barbara Allen, a remarkably dynamic presenter, will lead this weekend workshop looking at ancient the changing images, roles and place of women from ancient societies to the modern day. This program was presented at the Skagit Valley UU Fellowship to great acclaim. Barbara will explore the stages of a women’s life (maiden, mother and crone/elder) and examine the difference between patriarchal and matriarchal societies. In Barbara’s words, “This is a presentation for all women (and interested men) seeking clarity, answers, knowledge, wisdom, enlightenment, personal direction and validation. It is a time to re-learn how to live peacefully, with compassion, tolerance and understanding among all diverse people.” Facilitator: Rev. Barbara Allen |

Rev. Bill Sinkford, president of the UUA was at a UU convention and, because he and about a thousand other people in the hotel were wearing UU name badges, was asked while waiting for the elevator, "What do Unitarian Universalists believe?" He then had from the lobby to the seventh floor to answer. What would you say? This two session class will help you develop your own 'elevator
speech'. We'll talk about Unitarian Universalism and personal beliefs To sign up for this, please respond to this |
