Cooperative
Our programs for children and youth are a cooperative effort,
and all parents are asked to help for at least eight hours throughout
the year. It would be wonderful to have as role models for the
children and youth a strong mix of both parents and other members,
and of men and women. From my experiences at WUUC over the last
two years, this is a very generous congregation that steps forward
when help is needed. I look forward to inviting people to participate
in various ways that will enrich both the program and the lives
of the volunteers.
Teachers
While the teaching teams for the children’s classes this
year are fairly full, there is room for one or two more teachers
on the Otters’ team, teaching our eager first and second
graders. There are openings for teachers who want to learn more
about our UU Principles, or to share in the children’s experiences
with worship or social justice.
Registration
Some families still need to register their children
and youths. If you're visiting, please complete the registration form after three visits (the registration form provides more information than the half-page visitor form).
One registration form covers all of your children, including the nursery,
religious education classes, and both youth groups. The form is only one
page long, but provides us with a great deal of important information,
such as medical and dietary needs, email address changes for class e-lists,
and how parents would like to support the program.
You can download the 2007-8 RE registration form here or pick up a printed copy on the RE table in the foyer or in the classrooms.
