The speaker is a Holocaust survivor who will tell her story. She has an important, inspiring story to tell, and I hope you will attend with your families and friends. This may be your last opportunity to hear a first-hand account from a survivor of this horrible part of our human history. This program is part of our on-going studies of peace in the world, as well as a fund-raiser for our current project, Pennies for Peace. We sit in the sanctuary and there are people from WUUC and others from the larger community who sit together each week. We start at 7 p.m. but it’s fine if one needs to arrive later. We don’t ask people to have meditation experience but basic instructions will be offered if needed. We then have tea and talk about specific mindfulness practices.
