On January 23rd, 2006, six of our WUUC members and friends traveled to Olympia to join a rally supporting House Bill 2661 which adds “sexual orientation” to the list of protected classes in an existing anti-discrimination law. The House passed the bill the previous Friday. Speakers included Governor Gregoire, Representative Ed Murray and a variety of political, religious and community leaders. Carol Crow’s daughter is a member of The Seattle Women’s Chorus, who performed alongside the Seattle Men’s Chorus.
