Twice a year, the Social Justice plate collection goes to organizations which we feel are actively supporting the GLBT community. This year’s plate collections will go to the following organizations:

1/07 Religious Coalition for Equality is an interfaith association of lay persons and clergy committed to this twofold purpose: to educate Washington State citizens about and to advocate for marriage equality for all couples and the civil rights of all.

6/07 Camp Ten Trees, on the Kitsap Peninsula, is an overnight camp which features one week for lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, and questioning (LGBTQ) youth, and one week for the children of LGBTQ families. At Camp Ten Trees, children and youth build self-confidence and strength in diversity in an environment which challenges homophobia and provides a range of traditional camp activities.
